Air freshener blamed for fire that kills family pets

lifeisgood31This was one of those plug-in type “air fresheners” humans so please be aware of this possibility. Something else to consider is how toxic these air fresheners really are to breathe in and to have in your home period. Consider using essential oils and an essential oil diffuser instead. Not only do they clean the air and make it smell good, but they can go into the body and help with your and your pets overall total wellness quite unlike any ordinary chemical freshener can, WOOF!

Air fresheners are not good for indoor air quality. I like to save any citrus peels and spices that are too old to use. Boil them in a pot with a little hot water. They make the house smell lovely for next to nothing. I ground up cinnamon sticks for cinnamon and saved the bits that were too big for my spice bottle for a simmer pot.
