Natural pesticides

It’s certainly no surprise to moi, considering that’s what we’ve used in our house for a long time! Plus my humans keep houseplants for their beauty in addition to having them around as our natural oxygen providers and air cleaners, WOOF! God gave us everything we need in nature but humans are always looking ways to KILL things rather than allowing nature to do what she does best without harm to environment, keeping everything in its natural check and balance, WOOF!
This article shares how plants and their essential oils are an effective natural plant-based pesticide and repellent:

You know, natural products are great, but they still need to be treated with respect, and prescribed by a suitably qualified person. I know a lot of folk use tea tree oil for skin problems, but I know of two dogs who died after being treated with this product. Just because it’s natural, doesn’t mean you can use it liberally or inappropriately.

Hi Mary,
Yes they do need to be treated with respect. However, they are a far, far, far better choice than any type of pesticide product no matter what.
As for needing to know what you are doing and how to use them correctly, again you are right.
I do know since I am a veterinary naturopath. I would encourage those who don’t know much to do their homework, read, learn and to engage the services of those who are knowledgeable – a veterinary naturopathy, a holistic veterinarian, herbalist, or aromatherapist can be of help when anyone is learning or desiring to learn more.
