Cinnamon can help balance blood sugar
By Doc Kim on Feb 13, 2009 in Aromatherapy for Dogs, Pet Food & Natural Feeding
Humans, you know that diabetes is on the rise not only with the human population but also with dogs and cats. And the biggest reason why is for the same reason it is with humans: processed junk foods. For us dogs and cats it’s packaged commercial foods and treats laden with grains and corn syrup that our bodies cannot process…after all we ARE carnivores, WOOF! So why are we being fed rabbit food anyway? And why is our food so slathered with corn syrup? Well bepaws it is to make the junk food palatable to us or we’d never eat that overcooked poop. Then we become addicted to the sugar much as humans do.
So a few things you can do:
1. Switch us to a raw meaty bone diet
2. Use natural aids to support our bodies as we heal
3. Read this article on cinnamon and how it can help…and if you use Young Living Essential Oils, it can help even us pets, WOOF! Cinnamon Balances Blood Sugar and Lowers Cholesterol
