Pet Oral Health Products

This doesn’t make one bit of sense to me. IF you use doggie dental toothpaste and it is a known fact that Xylitol is dangerous for dogs to ingest, why is it not only IN a doggie toothpaste product but also approved and promoted by veterinarians? I am beginning to believe the world has indeed – at least the HUMAN world – stark, raving looney tunes, WOOF!
Here’s the news:
AquaDent Pet Oral Health Product Contains Deadly Xylitol
Well I’m glad on two counts for my own health:
1. My humans don’t use doggie toothpaste on me. I like the toothpaste they use by Young Living, but it is important to note that Young Living has one toothpaste that does have Xylitol in it. However, ALL their toothpaste is made for humans which is why, not for dogs. BUT my humans use the one that has NO Xylitol in it. No fluoride either, WOOF! Keeping the house human and dog safe hehe.
2. Why not just feed Raw Meaty Bones to your dogs and not have to worry about toothpaste of any kind at all??? That’s what I get and I not only never have to have a dental but my teeth & gums look MUCH better than most young dogs, WOOF!
At any rate, if you do brush your dogs teeth why not use one you know is safe? I know that the Young Living toothpaste with Thieves essential oil blend in it is not only safe but it tastes really good…um I like to taste it hehe.
