Aromatherapy Can Benefit Pets Too!
By Doc Kim on Dec 21, 2008 in Aromatherapy for Dogs, Essential Oils & Nutritionals for Dogs
Well you already KNOW that if you’ve been reading my blog here for any length of time, WOOF! It IS after all a blog about using aromatherapy with dogs
But it’s nice to see it validated elsewhere from time to time. However, in this article things are mentioned about not using the oils internally or “neat” (straight up) with animals. I’d say that’s not totally true.
It all depends on which essential oils you use and we use Young Living ONLY. And we know plenty of humans who use the oils neat and internally on dogs and horses. Other animals you’d probably be wise to be cautious. And when in doubt leave it out as our friend and Mom’s colleague, Dr. Jeannie Thomason always says!
Here’s the article:
Aromatherapy Can Also Benefit Pets
Be sure and read my Mom’s new article in Animal Wellness Magazine’s Dec/Jan Holiday issue, Citrus Scents.
