Pets Need Help from SoCal Fires
By Doc Kim on Oct 25, 2007 in A Dog's View Announcements, Dog Rescue & Welfare
Arrroooo, it’s really awful to me what is happening to all the homes and people, and along with all of that the animals always suffer too. So we’re asking if you can help. Here is the newsletter from PetPAC to help direct to you to how you can help:

Ten of thousands of pets are in peril because of the devastating fires blanketing Southern California, Susan Sholar, President of the California Federation of Dog Clubs (CFODC), has opened her California School of Dog Grooming in San Diego to coordinate both the distribution of donated pet supplies and available local boarding spaces.
PetPAC urges its members to send pet food, collars, leashes, crates, and other pet supplies to the California School of Dog Grooming.
Local volunteers are also needed who can provide temporary foster care, kennel and boarding space, dog runs, or RV parking areas.
Financial contributions are gratefully accepted, and can be made out to “CFODC Fire Fund”
Displaced families needing help in providing for their pets’ security and well-being should also immediately contact the California Federation of Dog Clubs for assistance.

As always I know the pet owner’s community will answer this urgent plea for help.
Sincerely,
Bill Hemby
