This is some very important information on MRSA. Mom is the USA Rep for The Bella Moss Foundation, so we always want to share with you any news about MRSA affecting animals and humans, WOOF! We use the Young Living essential oils as our natural defense against the superbugs, WOOF!
From newborns to NFL Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams, and Washington Redskins football players, the skin bacteria MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is spreading across America. A March 31, 2006, study by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) documented two outbreaks among otherwise healthy newborns in Chicago, Illinois, and Los Angeles County, California, hospitals.
It is believed that the overuse of antibiotics and antibacterial soaps and cleaners have led to the emergence of killer germs that basically laugh at antibiotics. A November 25, 2006, article by the Associated Press reported that the MRSA “Superbug [is] finding its way into locker rooms, weight rooms.”
The Centers for Disease Control recommends increased hygiene, stressing that washing with soap and warm water can protect against the supergerm MRSA.
Have a pawsitively tail waggin’, fragrantly healthy day, WOOF!
