For my itchy, scratchy throat

Shadrach the singing Neo Mastiff on A Dog's View

I feel so good after Mom did this for me I amazingly look so much younger, in fact like a puppy hehe and feel that way too, WOOF! Here is the recipe she used to help me feel better but she has since also added in a few drops of RC, essential oil blend by Young Living. She wrote this to a natural animal group she belongs to:

Hi Everyone, I wanted to share this because so far this little mixture of YL oils has helped my mom (who is a diabetic and thought she had a cold until I told her to mix this up and apply to her throat), and also for my niece, and now for my dog Shadrach.

My city, Albuquerque, sits in a valley surrounded by mountains. So with all the warmer air during the day pushing up at night and the really cold air coming in, it creates an inversion that holds in the pollution like a balloon holds air. There is a mandatory “no burn” for fireplaces right now because of it and so of course those with lung problems or allergies really suffer. Shadrach has always had all sorts of “issues” thanks to his puppy starvation and abuse by his former owner, so he hacks up phlegm all the time during this time of year. He’s a Neo Mastiff and they’re slobbery anyway but add this to the mix and OY!

Saturday I had emptied a bottle of Aroma Siez during his raindrop so I added in the rest of the Ortho Ease (I keep an extra bottle of this always for both he and I after our daily park run) so I could get the residual Aroma Siez out of the bottle. I added in some oregano and peppermint, mixed and then applied some to the outside of his throat and no hacking or scratching since!!! I’m ecstatic because he thinks he’s itching on the outside of his throat and ears and keeps scratching but it is INSIDE so by applying this to his throat it went into his body and worked its magic. I just wanted to share in case anyone else is having the itchy ears and scratchy throats that are attributed to the air and not really a cold but it feels like one. It helps right away and my mom, niece and now Shadrach are proof :-)

Have a tail waggin’ day!
