MRSA Study in Ecuador

MRSA study in Ecuador

I’m a tail waggin’ happy dog to be sharing this! Mom is the USA Rep for the Bella Moss Foundation which is working to educate on MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) prevention in animals and help the ones that are sick, so this news came as especially good news to us, WOOF! I LOVE my oils!!! Here’s the news:

“There is a rampant health destroying microbe in our hospitals that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Worse yet, it cannot be killed with antibiotics, hence the “resistant” part of its name. It’s called methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus or MRSA. This bacteria is extremely common and leads to boils, rashes, or necrotizing flesh. Sometimes, a person can have a rampant internal infection with no external indicators. It is estimated that an alarming 25 to 30% of the worldwide population has this bacteria.

Young Living’s long time researcher Sue Chao took on MRSA and presented preliminary research at Convention. 92 single oils, 64 blends, and 15 oils from Ecuador were studied. She used the MRSA strain ATCC 700699 – a nasty one. The results were astounding. Mind you, this is a super bug that mainstream medicine cannot treat effectively. What Sue found in her preliminary research is exciting – MRSA is defenseless against a few essential oils! In the cultures with a 30 ěl load (1/2 drop per Petri dish), the Young Living’s blend of R.C. and the single oil of lemongrass were triumphant. They killed 100% of the MRSA line in the sample dish. Young Living’s Longevity oil was also excellent, so was Eucalyptus Citrodora. To see this powerpoint presentation, please purchase the Convention 2006 PowerPoint CDs from www.essentialscience.net
