Arrrrooo fellow pets and people! Aaaah the purple, soft, healing smell of lavender! Dogs LOVE smells and I LOVE Young Living essential oils, so what could be better than rolling around in a field of healing, smelling good lavender, ruh???
Someday maybe dogs can go, sigh. Horses are there though, well Dr. Young’s are anyway, WOOF!

Lavender Harvest in St. Maries and Mona
Have you ever thought of all the work that goes into producing the essential oil that is delivered right to your doorstep? Now you can be a part of that process! The Young Living Lavender Farms are getting ready for their biggest harvests of the year. Come spend a week in Mona, Utah, or St. Maries, Idaho, and help in the harvest, learn from Young Living experts, and have loads of fun!
St. Maries Harvest
The first week begins July 24, and the second week begins July 31. Cost is $275 per person and includes meals and transportation to and from the airport in Spokane, Washington. Meals will be Young Living approved. However, because of time and cost restraints, we will be unable to cater to special dietary needs. Housing is an additional cost. You can rent a cabin for $80 per week or rent a tent for $10 per week. Showers and restroom facilities will be available.

Mona Harvest
This harvest is one week only, beginning July 9. Cost is $275 per person and includes meals and transportation to and from the airport in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as transportation to Nephi area motels. Meals will be Young Living approved. However, because of time and cost restraints, we will be unable to cater to special dietary needs. Call the motels early to make your reservations. Camping will not be available at the farm this year.

Other Details
Each week will include five days of fieldwork or other farm-related tasks, which will include the harvesting and gathering of lavender and distillation of the crop. There will be one play day to be determined by the group and by the weather. Transportation is only available on Sundays, so if you plan on arriving any other day, please make your own transportation arrangements to the farm.
Lavender Days in Mona, Utah
Lavender Days is being held at the Young Living Lavender Farm in Mona on Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8, 2006. Activities include the first annual Run through the Lavender 5k run/walk, professional jousting, paddleboat rides, rock climbing wall, Wild West gun show, wagon rides through the lavender fields, distillery tours, vendor booths, and live music and entertainment. The list of events also includes cooking with lavender, planting and harvesting lavender, medicinal uses of lavender, and lavender crafts and food. The entrance fee is $5 for adults and free for children under twelve.
