Itchy Dogs

Recipe for itching dogs you can try. ALL essential oils mentioned are Young Living Essential Oils
READ THIS on Halloween safety for your pets first.
To determine cause ask yourself these questions:
1. Grasses, weeds, plants that could be contributors to your dog itching?
2. Are yards and/or home sprayed with toxic chemical pesticides, fertilizers, cleaners, etc.?
3. What is your dog being fed? Is he/she on a natural species appropriate diet or a commercial diet?
If changing or removing these factors stops the itching then you’ve solved the problem. Always seek the advice of your holistic veterinarian to have guidance with these things. Here are some essential oils you can use to help stop the itchies:
General itching: Peppermint essential oil
Mix with purified water in a dark amber spray bottle (can be obtained at Abundant Health and spray dog with this mixture. It will also repel fleas, mosquitoes and ticks.
If the grasses, weeds, or such is aggravating your dog then:
besides cleansing your yard by removing chemical treatments, fertilizers and pesticides, cleanse your dog internally using :
Young Living’s Cleansing Trio
Juvaflex essential oil blend
Juvacleanse
For an unsettled tummy and finicky eater use:
DiGize essential oil blend in the water (one or two drops always goes a long way with Young Living Essential oils) and on the tummy.
Other essential oils for the tummy:
bergamot, hyssop, myrrh,
and others to try on belly and in food/water: ginger, lemon, nutmeg, orange, or spearmint
