The Peppermint herb is a native of Europe, but
is known and used all over the world.
The medicinal qualities of peppermint deal
primarily with the digestive, circulatory
and respiratory systems. This gift from
our Creator has been used as an antispasmodic,
expectorant for colds, for flus, fevers, nervous
disorders, flatulence and colic.
Interestingly the oil of peppermint has been shown
to be antimicrobial and antiviral against
Newcastle disease and the West Nile Virus.
In America, the peppermint leaves and flower tops
are used to increase stomach acidity as an aid in
digestion. Because of peppermints medicinal
digestive qualities, it is part of the ingredients
of our Digestive/Bowel Supplement for dogs.

The digestive qualities of peppermint are why
finer hotels always serve mints on your pillow
and finer restaurants always serve mints
after your meal. And we thought it was for our
breath!!!
