Oils For Pets

Arrroooo, fellow pets and humans! I LUV my essential oils -but you already know that huh?! Otay well I’m gonna share this with you anyway bepaws I think this is a better way to help animals be well. We don’t want no stinkin’ chemicals -least not UNnatural ones, WOOF! This came from our oil upline, Sue. Hope ya can DIG this, WOOF!
We’re still movin’ so I’ll have to keep my messages short with you humans! Once I’m moved I’ll be able to share long musings and things ’bout a dog’s life with you until then, it’s a bit rrrruuufff!

Calming:
Peace & Calming, Trauma Life, lavender.
Fleas and other Parasites:
Single oils:
Lemongrass, Melaleuca alternifolia, eucalyptus, peppermint.
Oil Blends:
Di-Tone. Add 1-2 drops of lemongrass to shampoo.
Oils repel fleas and other external parasites. Wash blankets with oils added to the wash during the rinse cycle. Place 1-2 drops of lemongrass on collar to eliminate fleas.
For internal parasites, rub Di-Gize on the pads (bottom of feet).
Insect Repellent:
Put 10 drops each of Purification, Eucalyptus globulus, and peppermint in an 8-oz spray bottle with water.
Alternate formula: Put 2 drops pine, 2 drops Eucalyptus globulus, and 5-10 drops citronella in a spray bottle of water. Shake vigorously and spray over area. Floral waters such as peppermint and Idaho tansy can also be used.
Mites: (ear mites)
Apply Purification and peppermint to a Q-Tip and swab just the inside of the ear.
Nervous Anxiety:
Valor, Trauma Life, chamomile, geranium, lavender, and valerian.
Pain:
Helichrysum, PanAway, Relief It, and peppermint diluted with vegetable oil 2:1.
Shiny Coat:
Rosemary and sandalwood.
Ticks:
To remove ticks, apply 1 drop cinnamon or peppermint on cotton swab and swab on tick. Then wait for it to unhedge the head before removing from animal’s skin.
Wounds:
Melrose, helichrysum, Animal Scents Ointment, and Rose Ointment.
